Simple things bring me joy– like the idea of bookending. I kicked off the semester in a very teacher-ly outfit. Over the course of the semester I let many things dictate what I wore– the lesson at hand, the weather, how I felt, etc. But, I love the idea of coming full circle and ending where you began, albeit changed by the journey. So, here is the outfit I wore the first day of class, and the same outfit (styled differently, of course) on the last day of class.
It’s the same basic idea– a black cardigan over the dress, nude legs and black pumps. But, the accessories are different and the feel of the outfit– it is a completely different season, after all.
